1 LB. GROUND BEEF 1 TBL. SHORTENING 1 C. CHOPPED ONION 1 C. CHOPPED FRESH TOMATOES 1/2 C. CHOPPED GREEN PEPPER 1 CLOVE GARLIC 1/4 C. CHOPPED STUFFED OLIVES 1 TEA. FLOUR 1 1/2 TEA. SALT 1/4 TEA. PEPPER 2 PKG. PIE CRUST MIX. 1 TBL. WATER 1 EGG YOLK 1/4 TEA. TABASCO SAUCE
SAUTE BEEF IN SHORTENING. ADD ONION, TOMATO, PEPPER AND GARLIC. COOK UNTIL ONION IS TENDER; ADD OLIVES AND TABASCO SAUCE; MIX. BLEND IN FLOUR, SALT AND PEPPER. COOK UNTIL THICKENED, STIRRING CONTSTANTLY; COOL. PREPARE PIE CRUST MIX AS DIRECTED. ROLL OUT 1/8 INCH THICK; CUT CRUST IN 3 INCH ROUNDS; FILL EACH WITH A TEASPOON OF MEAT MIXTURE. BRUSH WITH MIXTURE OF WATER AND EGG YOLK. BAKE AT 425 DEGREES FOR 10-12 MINUTES.
